Ok, maybe I don't know all there is to know about world politics. Some might say that I know absolutely nothing about the topic, and that perhaps it would be best if I just kept my big mouth shut. To those people I would say, go read some other site, I don't need your judgements; your opinions and corrections yes, but not your judgements.
Admittedly, I also know very little about last week's devastating bomb-blast in Spain. What I do know however is that hundreds of people were killed, and hundreds more injured - regular people just going about their day-to-day lives. That's all that matters to me.
Then along comes american politicians with their paranoid finger-pointing at Al-Qaeda. With such logic as "Oh no, it was a terrorist bomb-blast, therefore Al-Qaeda (and Bin-Laden) must have been involved!". Of course the american public laps this shit up, the propaganda addicts that they are - and a large percentage of whom are Spanish speakers themselves. America loves instilling fear, perpetually saying "ooh watch out american public, it's a sign from Al-Qaeda: they're planning another attack on our democracy!" "Be alert." "Prepare yourselves, the next time will be worse than 9/11."
Get your fucking paranoid self-centric shitty thoughts out your heads dumbasses - hundreds of people have just been killed!! This isn't a time to be pointing fingers at some terrorist network that probably couldn't give two flying-fucks about Spain. Al-Qaeda has a bone with america, and power hungry, world-dominating, so-called democratic governments. Some would argue that they are freedom-fighters, and in a way I believe they may be (although I don't agree with their methods).
Cut the shit already. You are perpetuating your own fear based on your addiction to global domination. Perhaps it's time that you listened to what the world (yes, the other 6 major land-masses occupying earth) is saying. Maybe you should disarm your nuclear programme, heck even just reduce your military budget spend. Be the bigger person here, end the oppression. As Ghandi once said, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." How true.
